Math is the subject that most students do not like nor enjoy! As an Educator, I have to find ways to make numeracy fun to do. I think creating a routine during math time allows for engagement to increase while also teaching what needs to be taught. This routine could include having number talks before each lesson or having math related games before each lesson. This class has made me realize that math/ numeracy does not need to be set in a single daily block, for example: when we did our Beaded Tweets. Beaded Tweets is an Art Project, a lesson in ADST for coding, this is because of patterns that occur in coding.
