On Oct 25th 2024, I went to a Professional Development event held by SD#57. I Went to an event called to Introduction to UFLI. UFLI is used to improve literacy by using explicit and systematic phonic program.

Professional learning is important to the Educator because it allows for us to continue our own learning and develop as teachers. Teachers are constantly learning during their career. For me, I am just beginning my career and engaging in Professional learning is important to start my teaching career.
