Standard 2
Standard 2 states that “Educators act ethically and maintain the integrity, credibility and reputation of the profession.” This means that Educators are held to a higher standard than the general public because we are role models to the younger generation. It pretty much states that we are role models in the sub text of the standard. “Educators are role models”: this is not just in the school but also off school grounds, this because educators are apart of the same society that our students are in. If our students see educators acting in a way that is not up to standards off school grounds, students could believe that acting in that manner is right when it was not.
